How do I convert my movies(avchd in .mts) from my Sony TX7 onto my iPad and Macbook Pro?

Apple Inc. has released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on Sep 9, 2014. The best experience it provides is unparalleled. I also have other Apple products: one iPad Air and one Macbook Pro for my work. As you know, I also love photography and keep my favorite Sony HD camcorder SONY TX7. Here I my question: how to upload movie the recording files from my SONY TX7 to my macbook or enjoy them on iPad losslessly?

Sony TX7 creates AVCHD files which are in mts format. So you need an AVCHD to MP4 Converter to change them into mp4 files which are accepted and compatiable with iPad and MacBOOK Pro.

Supported OS: Windows XP/Vista/7 and Windows 8 丨丨 Mac OS X 10.9(Mavericks), 10.8, 10.7, 10.6
